Most of the chapters have monthly educational meetings, conduct seminars, workshops, and publish monthly newsletters. Great Northwest Region sponsors a region conference every other year and Region Leadership conference annually.
The Great Northwest Region is a part of ARMA, International, a not-for-profit association serving more than 10,000 information and records management professionals in the United States, Canada, and over 30 other nations.
ARMA Internationalis divided into 10 Regions, each with a Region Manager and up to several Region Coordinators who serve as administrative contacts between the local chapters and ARMA International.
There are over 150 chapters throughout the US, Canada, Japan, Jamaica, and New Zealand. Local chapters hold regular meetings to provide members with networking, education, and leadership opportunities throughout the year.
ARMA International members include records and information managers, MIS, IT, and ADP professionals, imaging specialists, archivists, hospital records administrators, legal administrators, librarians, and educators.
