What is ARMA, International?

ARMA International is the Authority on Managing Records and Information.  It is a not-for-profit association serving more than 10,000 information and records management professionals in the United States, Canada, and over 30 other nations.


ARMA International
members include records and information managers, MIS, IT, and ADP professionals, imaging specialists, archivists, hospital records administrators, legal administrators, librarians, and educators.

ARMA International is divided into 10 Regions, each with a Region Manager and up to several Region Coordinators who serve as administrative contacts between the local chapters and ARMA International. There are over 150 chapters throughout the US, Canada, Japan, Jamaica, and New Zealand. Local chapters hold regular meetings to provide members with networking, education, and leadership opportunities throughout the year.

What is Great Northwest Region ARMA?

Great Northwest Region is comprised of chapters in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The Great Northwest Region has eight active chapters. Most of the chapters have monthly educational meetings, conduct seminars, workshops, and publish monthly newsletters. A few chapters meet quarterly. Great Northwest Region sponsors a region conference every other year.  The next Great Northwest Region Conference will be held in hosted by Columbia Basin Chapter date to be announced.
