May 1, 2007	Welcome to the Columbia Basin Chapter The Columbia Basin Chapter of ARMA recently celebrated it's 30th anniversary. Chapter members reflect the diversity of Eastern Washington, but they share a common interest in improving the quality of records and information management in their organizations. Upcoming Events Chapter Meeting - May 15, 2008 Mary Rose Kerg, Records Officer for the Bonneville Power Administration BPA successfully implemented an electronic records management system to support its mission of marketing wholesale electrical power and operating the federal power transmission system in the Pacific Northwest. The success came as a result of a partnership between information technology, program managers, users, and the records management staff. These diverse program elements developed a formal set of business process rules for the electronic record keeping system. Mary Rose will share how the BPA records management program moved into the electronic age. Please join us! You do not have to be a member of ARMA International or the Columbia Basin Chapter to attend. Guests and visitors are always welcome at our meetings.
