Welcome to the Great NW Region of ARMA

THIS IS YOUR ARMA!  The Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) is the leading international not-for-profit association for Records Management and Information Governance, comprised of approximately 15,000 professionals in this field with chapters across the US, Canada, and internationally.  Do you need guidance on records policy, compliance, and operations?  We are here to help connect you with local professionals for networking, educational session, vendor contacts, meet-ups, and collaboration. 

Great Northwest Region Online Conference, May 13, 2022:

The Great Northwest Region of ARMA encompasses the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington! 

 

Our region is proud to have and serve seven chapters.  Most of the chapters have monthly educational meetings, industry seminars and events, workshops, community outreach, and industry socials.  Additionally, there is information available through communications and monthly newsletters. The Region also hosts a Region Conference every other year packed with learning, continued education, opportunities to connect, and a chance to speak and interface with preferred partners on the latest technology, methodologies, and business solutions.

Alaska Chapter

ARMA Alaska has approximately 70 members representing large and small businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations located in the state of Alaska. Members represent diverseRIM professionals in the public and private sectors.  The chapter meets monthly (except summer and Christmas hiatus) to discuss a variety of records management and related issues.

Bellevue Eastside Chapter

The Bellevue Chapter serves the greater eastside members providing opportunities for RIM professionals to connect and collaborate.  RIM and IG areas include Utilities, Legal, Medical, Banking, Software, Engineering, Government, Energy, and Telecommunications.

Boise Valley Chapter

The Boise Valley chapter serves members in Idaho and eastern Oregon.  We are a solid group of industry professionals and we host events, learning sessions, and public outreach projects in the area.

Columbia Basin Chapter

The Columbia Basin Chapter acts as a resource to its members and the community by sharing knowledge, supporting professional development, and encouraging education to promote sound record keeping practices and principles.

Greater Seattle Chapter

This Chapter was established in 1964.  GSC typically holds monthly meetings and educational sessions in downtown Seattle with some special events in Everett. Members are made up of professionals from the public, legal, business, and vendor records and information management fields.  GSC includes members as far north as Bellingham and Everett and throughout the Seattle metropolitan region.

Oregon Chapter

The Oregon Chapter of ARMA provides quality educational programs and is open to all who wish to learn more about information governance and records management.  Chapter Meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month, September through May.

Puget Sound Chapter

The Puget Sound Chapter of ARMA International was chartered in 1976. Our mission is to provide training and education, encourage personal growth, and promote a peer network in the information management field.  Puget Sound Chapter holds meetings in Tacoma, Washington, but our members hail from cities around the Puget Sound region, from Port Townsend to Vancouver, Washington.
